General Guidelines

The Country Club of Louisiana is a private, member owned country club open only to members and their guests. Guests may play with a member up to five times a year and will be subject to guest and cart fees. Members are responsible for their guest’s compliance of all guidelines while using the Club. Upon Arrival

The bag drop is located to the left of the clubhouse. Guests should pull to bag drop and a Golf Service Staff member will assist with golf clubs. Proceed to golf shop, also to the left of the clubhouse, to check in. All members and guest must check in the golf shop before play.  A Golf Professional will direct guests to locker room to change shoes if necessary.

Golf Course Hours

Weekdays, except Holidays – 8:00 a.m. until dark.
Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays – 7:30 a.m. until dark.

The golf shop and all practice facilities (driving range; short practice area; putting green) will open 30 minutes prior to the course opening. The practice facilities will close 1 hour before dark.  The golf shop’s phone number is (225)755-4655.

Proper Dress

Golf attire is appropriate in the 19th Hole, Couples Lounge or Ladies Grille. Shorts must be must be mid-thigh or longer for both men and women. Cargo shorts/pants are not recommended. Golf attire includes a collar shirt with the exception of collarless golf shirts commonly sold in golf shops. Denim jeans are not appropriate attire on the practice facilities or the golf course. Shorts are permitted at any time. The use of metal spikes is prohibited on the practice facilities and golf course.

Dining

The 19th Hole, Highlander Grille or cart girls will not accept cash or credit card. All food charges must be charged to the member’s account or we may reciprocate with your club. For more information on reciprocating memberships, please contact accounts receivable at (225) 755-4642.

The Clubhouse is entirely smoke-free. Members and guests are requested to refrain from smoking in all dining areas.
