Gamon Manné – Head Golf Professional
 
Gamon joined the golf professional staff at The Country Club of Louisiana in July of 2007.  He came to us from New Orleans Country Club where he was an Assistant Golf Professional for 5 years. He was elected to membership of the PGA (Class A) in December of 2005. Gamon was awarded “Assistant Golf Professional of the Year” for 2005 & 2006 in The Gulf States Section of the PGA. He also received a scholarship from The Acushnet Company for excellence in PGA Professional Golf Management Program.

Gamon Manné has concentrated his education on club repair and club fitting. He has taught and lectured local golf professionals on club repair & club fitting and the importance of offering these services to their respective memberships. His specialty is putter fittings and detailed analysis of the putting stroke.  
 
Pat Ragusa – First Assistant Professional
 
Patrick joined the golf staff at the Country Club of Louisiana in March, 2004. Patrick walked on to the Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas golf team, then went on to graduate from Mississippi State University with a degree in Marketing.   During his college career, Patrick won four club championships at Shiloh Falls Golf Club in Counce, Tennessee, and participated in several state amateur events. Patrick moved back to his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to pursue his career in the golf business. During his time at the Country Club of Louisiana, Patrick has specialized in golf shop retail, club repair, and golf instruction. Patrick is currently working towards becoming a PGA professional.      
 
Jordan Dempsey – Second Assistant Professional
 
Jordan joined the golf professional staff at The Country Club of Louisiana in March of 2010. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, where he developed his passion for golf at an early age. Jordan played collegiate golf at the University of Mississippi where he was named an NCAA All- American, as well as an SEC First Team All-American. After college, Jordan went on to play on the Hooters Tour, Adams Tour and Nationwide Tour for five years.
 
Jordan has been fortunate to work with some of the best teachers in the world, including: Todd Anderson (Director of Golf at Sea Island), Stan Utley (Top 100 Teacher & Short Game Expert), and Dan Campbell (Top 100 Teacher). 
 
Ben Zarcaro – Third Assistant Professional
 
Ben Zarcaro has been a member of the Country Club of Louisiana golf staff since January of 2006. Ben moved from Houston to Baton Rouge in July of 2004, when he enrolled in Louisiana State University. Prior to working at CCL, Ben worked at GolfSmart - Houston's Junior Golf Academy, where he assisted PGA Instructor Brian Smith and Co-owner Max Garrett. During his time at GolfSmart, Ben developed a comprehensive understanding of the golf swing and also received extensive instruction on V1 swing analysis software. 
 
 
  

Mickey Matran - Director of Golf Instruction

Mickey joined the golf professional staff at The Country Club of Louisiana in February of 2002. He is a native of Louisiana and attended LSU. Prior to graduating LSU he left for Florida to pursue a golf career and earned an Associate Degree in Golf Complex Management from The Golf Academy of the South. While in Florida, Mickey worked (4 years) for Arnold Palmer at his winter home, The Bay Hill Club, host to the annual PGA Tour stop The Bay Hill Invitational. Before arriving to CCLA, Mickey spent two years on the professional staff at the nationally recognized Olympic Club. The Olympic Club has hosted four US Open Championships, two PGA Tour Championships and several other major championships located in San Francisco, Ca.
 
Mickey was promoted to The Director of Instruction in June of 2007. He has concentrated his education on teaching and tournament operations. Elected to PGA Membership (Class A) in July of 2002, Mickey honed his teaching skills working for several years with Top 100 instructors, professionals, accomplished amateurs and beginners. His goal is to help make CCLA an unmatched facility for “Golf Instruction” and “Club fitting”. As well as teaching, Mickey has also competed in numerous professional golf tournaments and participated in several Pro-Ams and Celebrity-Pro-Ams.
